LETTER OF INTRODUCTION

My name is Jason Pontius and it is my pleasure to provide you with some of my background information.

Starting in 1988 I worked for a larger painting contractor in Calgary, AB Canada as a painter/laborer, and moving up to production manager while receiving my formal training.

I have been self employed since 1997. My painting experience is diverse working in different areas such as, insurance fire/water restoration, commercial and industrial building maintenance, residential/commercial repaints, new homes, and renovations. I was an active member of three painter apprenticeship committees at all levels of government in Canada. I moved from Calgary, Canada to Sacramento in the fall of 2007 and married Michele, whose husband had succumbed to cancer a couple years earlier. Michele and her three girls are rooted in the Sacramento area so we felt it was in the best interest if I relocated here. My goal is to set up the same type of long term business relationships that I enjoyed in Calgary. The economy is tough right now and very competitive, but I am an optimist, and feel that my professionalism, and quality of work will make me your preferred painting contractor.
